Pascal Schmidt

After a DESS degree in industrial and organizational psychology at the University of Paris V, Pascal began his career recruiting engineers and managers and working in internal communication with the HRD of Colas, a leader in public works.

In 1985 he joined the Danone Group and held a series of positions in central HR Management and in the subsidiaries — recruiting and managerial career development, Human Resources at the Kronenbourg brewery, social and organizational development at LU Germany and then at Panzani.

In 1996, he took over as head of Human Resources at Givaudan in Geneva, in charge of the Group’s central departments and the perfumery ingredients operations.

After experience in organizational and HR project management consulting in industrial companies, Danone called him back in 2005 to head the HRD at Volvic Waters, then HR coordination for the Evian, Volvic, Badoît and La Salvetat brands.

In 2010, Pascal set up the Group HRD for the Swedish group SCA’s Packaging businesses in France and Spain.

Pascal Schmidt joined Malteurop in late 2014; his mission is to implement an HR policy at Group level to accompany the company’s strategy and performance, while ensuring his employees’ career development.
